What to include in a correction request

When reporting a calculator issue, include the page URL, input values used, result shown, expected result if known, and the source you are comparing against. For tax or compliance pages, include the financial year, assessment year, rule reference, or official link where possible. This helps reproduce and fix the issue quickly.

Do not send PAN, Aadhaar, bank details, payslips, Form 16, or private documents unless they are absolutely necessary and redacted. RupeeCalc can usually investigate formula or wording issues from non-sensitive sample numbers.

Response scope

Messages are reviewed for product feedback, corrections, source updates, and partnership enquiries. RupeeCalc cannot provide personalized filing advice, investment advice, loan approval advice, or legal opinions over email.

Useful feedback examples

Helpful messages include: a wrong formula output, an outdated government source, an unclear caveat, a broken link, or a missing assumption on a calculator page. General personal tax planning questions may not receive personalized answers because the site is not a tax advisory service.

What to include in a correction email

To help RupeeCalc review an issue quickly, include the page URL, the input values used, the result shown, the expected result, and the official source or document that supports the correction. Screenshots are helpful when a calculator display, mobile layout, or table output looks wrong.

Response and update process

RupeeCalc prioritises issues that affect tax calculations, statutory assumptions, calculator formulas, broken pages, privacy, and official-source references. Minor copy edits and feature requests are reviewed after accuracy and functionality issues. Corrections may be reflected on the relevant page, the update log, or the source notes depending on the size of the change.
